Preserving History

The Hughson Historical Society is a non-profit organization located in Hughson, CA. The Society was established in 2000 with the aim of preserving and promoting the history of Hughson and its surrounding areas. The Hughson Historical Society is administered by a Board of Directors and a group of dedicated volunteers who work tirelessly to collect and preserve historical artifacts, documents and photographs related to the city of Hughson.

The Hughson Historical Society hosts regular events and programs throughout the year, including historical lectures, walking tours, and community celebrations. The Hughson Historical Society also offers educational programs for schools and community groups, and works closely with local organizations to promote the preservation of the city’s historic landmarks and sites.

We are proud to be a member of the Hughson Chamber of Commerce, and we participate in annual community events such as the Hughson Fruit and Nut Festival, the Hughson Arboretum Fall Festival, the Hughson Christmas Festival and Parade, Hughson High School Homecoming Parade, and the Taste of Hughson.
